Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father who plays hockey. Aryna Sabalenka, a Belarusian born May 5th 1998. Her career has seen her win twelve WTA singles championships. This includes a Grand Slam in the Australian Open in 2023. In her role as a specialist in doubles, she also has won the US Open of 2019 as well as her first Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. She won both the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed what is known as the Sunshine Double. The feat only four pairs in women's Doubles were able to achieve. In January of 2023 she achieved her highest rank in singles. On the 23rd of August 2021, she climbed into the top two spot of world rankings. However, in doubles she climbed to number one due to her triumph in Melbourne on February of the same year. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach in 2018 until her season came to an end in the year 2019. He also coached her for a short time at the start of 2020. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach as of the start of 2020. Serena Williams is her role for a role model, closely followed by Maria Sharapova.
